My family and I are so thankful for the care that was given to both my Dad and Mom by April and her team at Lyon Specialty Care in Rock Rapids, IA. We are all on the journey of life and when it comes to the final stage of life it is great to have a small town nursing home staff give such great care to your loved ones when you can not be there all of the time.  They all do a fantastic job!  God Bless!

...the nurses and staff are extremely dedicated to each resident. I was blessed to have my mother experience their loving care. In fact, I saw my mother bloom during her stay at Heritage. It was so sweet when I realized that most of the staff, lovingly called her Grandma. My love and everlasting thanks to each of you.

The nurses are very good to us. Everybody seems friendly and we get to meet new people that are enjoyable to talk with. Everything is very neat and clean. CNA’s are happy to wait on all of us. There is church three times a week and it’s nice to have that opportunity. I like that visitors are always welcome.

My dad has been a resident at Pinnacle Specialty Care since the facility opened and has had many medical issues. He struggles with Dementia and neurological issues. He always enjoys his meals and the CNA and nurses have been very attentive to his medical needs and in helping find activities he enjoys. The music there he enjoys and tells me how much he loves living here.

Relaxing place, the staff makes you feel welcome I try to remember all there names but they are used to being called 'hey you.' The staff says it doesn't bother them that they are used to it however if your memory is somewhat there, you should try to get that person name and remember, "please" and "thank you" go along way in life. They have very compassionate nurses that can help you beyond time. CNAs that are friendly and all. They let you choose if you want to stay in your room to eat, play, and have your privacy! You get your own spacious room; your own big bathroom, bathroom sink, toilet. Two call buttons in your room. Funiture is new with cherry wood finish. Plenty of snacks according to your diet!
