    Located in Coralville, IA, Lantern Park Specialty Care is licensed to provide quality care to up to 90 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We serve residents from Johnson County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities.

    We are committed to providing our residents with an active and engaging quality of life through daily programming, social and educational activities, and services that promote physical health, provide mental stimulation, increase engagement and help our residents thrive in a home-like setting.

    Care Initiatives is Iowa’s largest nonprofit provider of high-quality skilled nursing care, hospice care, assisted living, independent living, memory care and more. With 60 locations across the Midwest, Care Initiatives and the team at Lantern Park Specialty Care are ready to assist.

    This facility goes above and beyond for residents, families, and staff. Very clean and well maintained facility. Staff are very caring and work well together. Food is amazing and in good portion. I would recomend this facility for my loved ones and for employment.

    This is probably one of the best nursing homes out there. They take care of the patients as if they were their own family! The staff here are friendly and kind. I don't know what the staff is paid, but it's not enough for the amazing care they give. i highly recommend taking your loved ones here if you want them to be taken care of the right way.

    This facility is wonderful and has some very amazing staff. I have had 2 family members there 1 (my grandpa) for end of life care and the 2nd for some skilled pt/ot/st (my dad) which the therapist were wonderful working on the things we needed to be able to have him return home again. My family is very thankful for Lantern Park Specialty Care

    My experience as a staff member has been primarily positive. Physical therapy does an amazing job at rehabilitation and the patients always comment on what a fun loving, kind and friendly team of therapists we have. We also have a great nursing staff… caring and conscientious. We love our residents here at Lantern Park!

    Created in 1989, Care Initiatives is the largest nonprofit operator of quality skilled nursing locations in Iowa. Today, Care Initiatives operates a total of 43 skilled nursing care locations, two assisted living locations, seven independent living locations, and eight hospice office locations.
