    Located in Marshalltown, IA, Southridge Specialty Care is licensed to provide quality care to up to 82 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We serve residents from Marshall County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities.

    We are committed to providing our residents with an active and engaging quality of life through daily programming, social and educational activities, and services that promote physical health, provide mental stimulation, increase engagement and help our residents thrive in a home-like setting.

    Care Initiatives is Iowa’s largest nonprofit provider of high-quality skilled nursing care, hospice care, assisted living, independent living, memory care and more. With 60 locations across the Midwest, Care Initiatives and the team at Southridge Specialty Care are ready to assist.

    I am grateful to provide the medical care and services where the Director and Administration are organized and in harmonious sync with quality patient care and ensuring safety and compliance.I enjoy each and every unique resident and their family that the highly skilled Interdisciplinary Team provides to each resident here onsite; including PT/OT, social worker, business office, activities, dietary , and environmental. Not to mention, the care the nurses provide here is attentive and exemplary!I find each day here such an opportunity to serve and enhance the quality lives of seniors and assist a family’s involvement & understanding in their loved one’s health and care plan.
