    Located in Sioux City, IA, Westwood Specialty Care is licensed to provide quality care to up to 85 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We serve residents from Woodbury County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities.

    We are committed to providing our residents with an active and engaging quality of life through daily programming, social and educational activities, and services that promote physical health, provide mental stimulation, increase engagement and help our residents thrive in a home-like setting.

    I reside at Westwood Specialty care and l dearly love it! The food is good and the staff is great! Asha and Heather, the activity directors are just wonderful. Always have new ideas for us for crafts and ECT. They both are the sweetest people you would ever want to meet! Both are so sweet and kind and go out of there way to make you feel at home and that you are always welcome in no matter what is going on. I truly love both of them to death!...❤️💓🧡💚🥰💙. I keep both of them in my prayers 🙏every night. 😴

    I would like to give thanks to the administrators & staff at Westwood.They are so Caring and considerate of the residents. My sister is there andis doing so well, she enjoys the food, especially the scrambled eggs for breakfast.She started to thrive the very first day she arrived at the facility & our family couldn’t be happier….Everyone is working so hard to make Westwood the greatest place to reside !!!!!Keep up the good work & Thanks again ❤️❤️😊😊

    Please, I have been a part of Westwood for about 20 years now. I made the best out of life with my stroke in 2005. I was only 35 when I had my stroke. I have seen the up's and down's of Westwood but the Lord has blessed me in so many 🙏 ways here at Westwood with lots of grandmas and grandpas now that I'm older it's 🙏 more like moms & dads. Today, Care Initiatives operates a total of 43 skilled nursing care locations, two assisted living locations, seven independent living locations, and eight hospice office locations.
