Jesse Clemen Chosen for Care Initiatives’ Be Kind and Honest Award
Jesse Clemen, a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aide at Dubuque Specialty Care received the Be Kind and Honest Award from Care Initiatives.
Administrator Jayme LeJeune-Schomburg nominated Jesse for the award. She wrote, “Jesse goes where he is needed, but above all else, he provides quality, person-centered care to each individual resident with compassion, integrity and respect. Whether he is administering medications, providing a bath, doing an individualized restorative program, or putting someone’s shoes on in the afternoon, he completes his tasks with patience, kindness and concern for each residents’ wants and needs. Because of this, he has developed meaningful relationships with the residents and their family members. Furthermore, Jesse is respected by his coworkers. He has the heart of a true caregiver.”
The Be Kind and Honest Award is one of six Core Value Awards given to a nominated employee throughout the statewide organization of 3,000+ employees.
