Sibley Specialty Care recognized with National Quality Award
AHCA/NCAL awards 2024 Silver National Quality Award
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (July 2, 2024) — Care Initiatives is proud to announce that Sibley Specialty Care has been recognized with the 2024 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) recognizing organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of residents and staff in long-term care.
Sibley Specialty Care is one of only four providers in Iowa to receive the Silver award. This distinction is the second of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The Program honors health care providers across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to enhancing the quality of care for our nation’s elders and individuals with disabilities.
“Earning the Silver award is an incredible honor and demonstrates our dedication to high-quality care,” said Johanna Volm, Care Initiatives’ Vice President of Clinical Services. “This achievement also underscores the Sibley team’s dedication to enhancing the care and services we provide to our residents every day."
The National Quality Award Program has three progressive levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. At the Silver level, recipients have met the criteria for the Bronze award and can now move on to the final and most prestigious level of the program, the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of the criteria.
Care Initiatives is the nonprofit organization that owns and operates Sibley Specialty Care.
