Missy Julius Earns Care Initiatives Be Kind & Honest Award

Julius joined Sibley Specialty Care in 2009 and oversees maintenance, housekeeping and laundry. She is an active member of the team and is available 24 hours a day.

We thought what a better way to honor her name than to donate this basket in her memory. She loved bingo, so we included some prizes. Angela loved to bead and play Uno. Her favorite music was John Denver so we included that also.

Read More(October, 2019) Staff at La Porte City Specialty Care are celebrating a perfect survey administered by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. They received zero deficiencies. There are 439 nursing facilities in Iowa. Generally, only 5 percent are found to be deficiency-free.
Skilled nursing facilities are inspected annually to evaluate services and renew state licensure. Unannounced, state surveyors arrive to interview, observe, and check records for several days.
