On April 5, 2022, Members of Care Initiatives Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council met with leadership from Special Olympics Iowa to deliver a $10,000 donation in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, which is observed in March.

National Healthcare Decision Day Event
Friday, April 15, 2022 - 1:00pmOn April 15, 2022, Care Initiatives will host a company-wide National Healthcare Decision Day event from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. All 43 skilled nursing facilities will simultaneously host the event. Six of the seven hospice locations will co-host at a local skilled nursing building, while the Manchester Care Initiatives Hospice office will host independently at their location.

On March 4, 2022, Care Initiatives made a $20,000 donation to Doctors Without Borders. This donation was made in hopes of furthering the efforts of providing much-needed healthcare to communities affected by war.
