National Skilled Nursing Care Week is May 10-16. Here is our planned schedule:

Sunday May 10 -  Mother’s Day, Marlene will be passing out flowers. To kick off National Skilled Nursing Care Week, please dress in yellow.

Monday May 11 - Polka Dot Day- Wear anything polka dotted and Dip n Dots for lunch.

Tuesday May 12 - Hawaiian Day - Wear anything Hawaiian Themed and fruit kabobs at 1pm.

Wednesday May 13 - Purple Day- Wear anything Purple and purple plant potting at 10am.

The staff and residents at Dunlap Specialty Care had a big open house celebration on May 13. They celebrated the end of National Nurses Week, the beginning of National Nursing home week and their 40th anniversary! The afternoon was spent enjoying hot dogs, hamburgers, lots of goodies and plenty of socialization. Area locals joined in for the celebration and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We can’t put into words how thankful we are to live in such a supportive community. Thanks to all that came out to celebrated with us!
